In-Studio Rates @ Old Plank:

• Multi-track and live 2-track recording: $50/hr
• Transfers, Editing, Mastering: $40/hr

O.P.S.L. Remote Recording Rates:

• Direct to 2-Track Digital Recording: $250.00
  • Matched pair of mic outfits (B&K, AKG or Coles)
  • 2 track digital hard drive recorder
  • 2 Channel mic pre/processor
  • Operator
  • Up to 8 hours for travel, set-up, sound-check and performance.
  • Overtime (8+ hours), tape costs and optional extras have additional charges.
  • Optional extras include extra DAT and/or Cassette recorders, extra mic outfits with 8 channel mixer, extra engineer.
• Multi-track Recording - 6-24 Tracks: Starting at $300.00
  • Includes 1 HD-24 deck with balanced or unbalanced cable to interface with client provided mixing console and 1 operator (8 hours total time)
  • Mixing console, mic outfits, signal processors, DAT and/or cassette recorders, 2nd engineer available, but as optional extras.

• CD, DAT, Digital Video (DV) and Cassette recorders
• Tape stock for all decks involved
• 2nd engineer(required for complex set-ups)

Payment Policies:

• All charges are due in full upon completion of each project, unless other credit arrangements have been made in advance.
• No multi-track tapes or master mixes will be released until full payment has been received.
• Block discounts are for pre-paid blocks of time - 2 full day min.
• Minimum charges are 1 hour in-studio, 1 day rental and remote.
• Cancellation or rescheduling of in-studio bookings require a minimum of 24 hour notice. Rental & remote bookings require a minimum of 48 hour notice. Shorter notice may result in a cancellation surcharge.
