	Historical Perspectives For Children : Historical Perspectives for Children presents strong, character role models to students in grades K-8 by portraying the lives of famous women and men in history whose stories tie into the social studies, science and language arts curricula. Each character's life is dramatically reenacted from childhood through adulthood, allowing children to see the process they went through to achieve their goals. These multi-media portrayals are accented with slides, sound effects, taped voiceover and costume changes to truly bring each character to life. At the end of each program, it is our hope children say to themselves, "Maybe I can do that someday!"

	Jay Marino : In addition to being an Old Plank All Stars alumnus [ guitar, mandolin & vocals], Jay has engineered and been a session player for many OPSL recording projects. He is currently Studio Owner / Engineer at I.V. Lab Studios in Chicago.
	John Austin : A sort of wandering songwriter who has collaborated with artists as diverse as Shawn Mullins and Buddy Miller.... along the way John Austin has worked with a host of writers & musicians from bands including Better Than Ezra, VOL, John Mayer Band, Train, Steve Winwood Band, Billy Pilgrim, Sugarland, Innocence Mission & The Ocean Blue."
	John Records Landeker : John Records Landecker (born March 28, 1947) is an Oldies disc jockey best known for creating "Boogie Check," "Americana Panorama," and satirical songs and bits based on current events such as "Make a Date with the Watergate," and "Press My Conference." He currently hosts the syndicated Into the Seventies weekend radio program which he has hosted since July 2007.
	Johnny Frigo : Johnny Frigo (December 27, 1916 – July 4, 2007) was an American jazz violinist and bassist. Johnny Carson once asked Frigo why it took so long to start his career as a violinist. Frigo replied "Because there won't be enough time left for me to become a has-been."

	Liquid Soul : This is the official site of Liquid Soul, the Chicago-based band nominated for a 2000 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Founded in 1994, Liquid Soul has performed in 42 states and throughout Canada and Japan, plus shows in Germany, Turkey and Mexico. 	Material Issue : Material Issue was a power pop trio from Chicago. Its trademark was a brand of dense, rich, manic powerful pop and its music revolved heavily around themes of love and heartbreak, with a number of song titles using girls' first names.
	Michael Heaton : Literate Americana with a rock-n-roll heart. Call him rock, call him pop, or call him country - Michael Heaton's music is steeped in the rock songwriter traditions of Tom Petty, John Mellencamp and John Hiatt. Based in the Chicagoland area, Michael Heaton is a musician with a talent for creating heartfelt lyrics and melodies about life, love, work and burning houses.
	Old Plank All Stars : Vintage American is what we came up with when we took the sound and instrumentation of the great American pre- rock and roll string bands (no amps, no drums, lots of pickin' and singin') and used it on the stuff we grew up listening to - pop rock music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

	Phil Bonnet : Phil Bonnet May 5, 1960-February 2, 1999 It would not be a gross exaggeration to say that the gregarious Bonnet had recorded just about every area band of note in the past decade: The Smoking Popes, The Slugs, Fig Dish, Eleventh Dream Day, New Duncan Imperials -- Bonnet's discography is too long to recount. Bonnet also played guitar in his own band Cheer Accident.

	The Smashing Pumpkins : The OPSL ADATS were set up in the alley next to the Arogon Ballroom in 1993 to record the Pumpkins live for the 1993 WXRT New Years Eve concert broadcast. This was the concert that was breaking in the new material from "Siamese Dream". Transfers & mixdown were all done at Warzone Studios. Steve J was the ADAT tape-op for both sessions.
	Wild Blue / Jinx : Great pop rock project which seemed to be vocalists Rene Varo's album, backed by session musicians. Gene Black, in the same year released an album with Device. Frank Barbalace was ex Trillion, and ex Maxus bassist Mark Leonard also appeared. Previously, Rene Varo was in a band called Jinx. As of 2008 shes still in the scene, performing with Love Kill Me. The song "Fire With Fire" was used in the 80's teen movie, of the same name.
